Colorado Parks and Wildlife celebrates Bat Week Oct. 24-31, an annual international recognition of the important role that these flJoin the staff and volunteers of Eleven Mile State Park for an afternoon of fun beyond your wildest dreams for all ages! Set out from the visitor center through the Rocky Ridge Campground B Loop for a half-mile hike featuring parks and wildlife themed activities that will earn you prizes and Halloween treats!
Stops along the hike will include face painting, animal identification (skins and skulls matching station), wildlife fact ping-pong toss, a cactus ring toss, a trivia wheel, learn-to-cast ("Backyard Bass"), corn hole (to earn your s'mores package), decorating mini pumpkins or another craft, and a s'mores/campfire station.
The event is free of cost! Park pass required for every vehicle entering the park. Park office will be closed, please bring exact cash or check for the self-serve station.
Costumes are encouraged!ying mammals play in nature. This event is an opportunity to get to know these wonderful animals that are vital to our health, environment, and economy - and also add some intrigue to Halloween.

Chemistry is fundamental to medical education, acting as the foundation on which the human body functions. Chemistry is the key to life and underpins the search for a cure for cancer. The late President Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush were advocates of medical research to find cures for cancer following the death of their daughter Robin. With research, cancer is being cured.
